We strive to ensure every customer has a smooth and satisfying shopping experience. However, we understand that sometimes things might not go as planned. In such cases, we’re here to help with a fair and transparent return and refund process.

1. Eligibility for Returns and Exchanges

We accept return or exchange requests under the following conditions:

Eligible Scenarios

  • Incorrect Item Received: If the item you received differs from what you ordered (wrong brand, model, size, or quantity).
  • Damaged or Defective Products: If the product is found to be damaged, broken, or defective at the time of delivery.

To ensure a smooth resolution, we request you to:

  • Inspect your package at the time of delivery, and
  • Report any issues within 12 hours of receiving the order

  • Photos clearly showing the damage or discrepancy

2. Products Not Eligible for Return

We aim to be as transparent as possible about what can and cannot be returned. The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Products that are opened, used, or installed
  • Items marked as "Non-Returnable" on the product detail page
  • Customized, cut-to-size, or made-to-order materials (e.g., specific tile dimensions, piping, etc.)
  • Items requested for return after 12 hours of delivery.
  • Products damaged due to mishandling or improper storage after delivery
  • Perishable or consumable items (if applicable).
  • Products once opened, used, or tampered with after delivery.
  • Items like Paints with or without added colorants, Machinery, Sanitary, liquid Chemicals, Water Tanks etc are non-returnable items.

3. Our Resolution Process

Once we receive your return request and verify the issue, we offer the following resolution options:

Exchange

We will arrange a replacement of the same item or an item of equivalent value, depending on stock availability. Our team will coordinate with you to schedule the pickup and redelivery.

Store Credit / Credit Note

If a replacement is not available or feasible, we will issue a store credit equivalent to the product value. This can be used for any future purchases on Buildzar.in and will be valid for 6 months from the date of issue.

4. Refunds (If Applicable)

As a policy, Buildzar.in does not offer cash or bank refunds under normal circumstances. However, in rare cases where neither a replacement nor a credit note is possible—such as product discontinuation—we may process a full refund to your original payment method or via bank transfer.

Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 7-10 business days from the date of confirmation.

5. Shipping Charges for Returns

  • If the return is due to an error on our part (wrong item delivered, damaged product), we will bear the shipping costs for reverse pickup.
  • In all other cases (e.g., customer’s change of mind), the return shipping cost will need to be borne by the customer.

6. How to Initiate a Return

If you are facing an issue and wish to return a product, here’s what you need to do:

1. Contact Us within 12 hours of receiving your order:

  • Include order ID, product details, and clear photos/videos of the issue

2. Our customer support team will review your request and respond within 24–48 hours.

3. If approved, we will coordinate the pickup and next steps for either:

  • Dispatching a replacement, or
  • Issuing a credit note

7. Important Notes

  • Please retain the original packaging, invoice, and product label until the return process is complete.
  • Store credits are non-transferable and must be used in full before expiry.
  • Partial returns from combo packs or bundled items are not allowed unless each product is individually eligible.
